The first thing you will notice about this book is the size. At about 1” thick you'll realize right of the bat that you have a book that holds a bunch of knowledge! I always like to flip through the book and scan the pages to see what I have to look forward to. This brings us to the second thing you might notice. Tons of pictures, charts, diagrams, graphs, and best of all, they are all in COLOR! WOW, this really makes the book a great read! As I read the book I found having a sketch pad close by a necessity. You’ll find yourself saying, “oh thats a good idea”, or “yeah i need to add that to the toolbox list”. Even as a seasoned off-roader I found myself thinking, I wish I would have tried that during that one incident years ago! While the book tends to start out rather slow, more for the laymen, it picks up into the more technical aspect of trail driving quickly. Whether your in a 75k dollar tube chassis crawler, or your daily driver with 31” tires, everyone will find something to improve on. Trail driving and rock crawling has been such a fast growing leisure sport that new ideas and maneuvers have changed and evolved so fast that its hard to stay up-to-date. With the use of the four wheelers bible you will find yourself at the fore front of the sport! |
